We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our organization.
Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
*Job Summary* The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing the company’s payroll.
*Duties and Responsibilities* · Communicate professionally and effectively with employees to gather payroll information · Calculate wages for independent contractors and employees.
· Calculate overtime, deductions, and all other applicable items · Enter payroll information in payroll systems · Prepare and execute payroll through payroll systems · Process payments of employee benefits and/or garnishments · Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and management · Prepare reports for management as requested · Prepare and reconcile payroll schedules · Assist Payroll Department with various tasks and projects as needed *Competencies* · Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information · Have a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility · Must possess excellent communication skills · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity · Have outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail *Qualifications* · The Payroll Specialist should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Candidates with prior payroll experience are preferred.
*Work Environment* · Some local travel may be required.
*Physical Demands* · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; · The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
· This job requires visual acuity needed to perform activities such as analyzing data, transcribing, viewing computer screens, and extensive reading.
*Supervisory Responsibilities* · No supervisory responsibility Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
