Job Summary
Assign duties and responsibilities to Housekeeping staff, and assist as required, to ensure, in accordance with all applicable regulations and Sager Brown needs, all interiors of Campus buildings and all Depot public and office spaces are cleaned and sanitized on a continual basis so that all interior Campus and Depot public areas are in a steady state of pristine neatness and cleanliness while maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning, paper products, and linens.
Essential Job Functions
Assign duties and responsibilities to the Housekeepers as required to ensure the economic and efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department.
Keep all interior spaces clean and sanitary on a continual basis.
Maintain an optimum inventory of cleaning and paper products.
Ensure an ample supply of linens is always available.
Inform Facilities of any needed interior repairs, maintenance, or replacements required of Campus/Depot areas.
Work flexible hours (between 7 am and 6 pm) to be determined by Associate Director to Volunteer services, some overtime (daily & weekend) may be required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a small position.
(five plus (5+) years' experience preferred).
Competencies, Job Requirements, and Other Specialized Knowledge
Assigns duties and responsibilities to Housekeepers based on individual skills and job needs/priorities.
Maintains pristine housekeeping throughout all Campus interior areas, and maintains an adequate inventory of all housecleaning products.
Work Hours and Conditions
FLSA Status: F/T Exempt
Location: Baldwin, LA
May require work outside of standard business hours (to include weekends), particularly during peak unit season.
Sedentary office/computer/keyboarding/meeting work for extended periods of time.
Walking moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Light - Heavy lifting from 5-50lbs.
Travel as required
