com is seeking a Sr.
Director of Technology.
This role reports to our SVP/CIO and leads our Software Development teams.
This position oversees our technical staff, improving software performance, and ensuring the smooth integration of new software.
This role will focus on leadership through management and mentorship.
The Sr.
Director of Technology is responsible for the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure, security, company data strategy/reporting, compliance activities, help desk, IT budgets, overall corporate IT governance and roadmap.
This position will provide and is accountable for technical leadership in planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities
Oversee the technology team and its direction and execution; ensuring projects are delivered on time with a high level of quality.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management and professional-level staff within the department.
Oversees the schedules and responsibilities of management-level staff within the department.
Establishes the strategic direction of the company's information systems and data strategy; executes this strategy in collaboration with company leadership.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Supports staff to achieve their training and development objectives.
Develop, maintain, and review applications built with React, NodeJS and .
NET
Responsible for code reviews and management of pull requests to ensure team members are completing tasks and contributing code that meets the short and long-term goals of the organization.
Meet with department and company leadership to ensure alignment of objectives and goals.
Approves all new information security policies and any updates to existing policies.
Monitors and reports progress on development projects, resource utilization, and production performance to executive leadership.
Identifies and recommends new technologies and services that will improve efficiency, processes, and operations; reviews requests for additional services and upgrades, assessing the costs and benefits to the organization.
Maintain system documentation both within the code and within technical design documents.
Maintains pace with technological progress, economic change, and company needs by directing continual improvements of IT staff, equipment, and procedures.
Prepares, implements, and executes IT budget.
Facilitate daily standup meetings and sprint planning meetings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
JavaScript and .
NET Programming experience.
Relational and NoSQL Database experience.
Experience leading software teams in a corporate setting.
Possess a strong knowledge of software development tools and practices, including a solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
Ability to manage multiple projects/deliverables at a time.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficient with Business Central (MS Dynamics) is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
