Job Title: Director of Innovation

Role Overview
As the Director of Innovation, you will be at the forefront of our business intelligence and data engineering efforts.
You will play a key role in managing and evolving our use of Power BI, overseeing transitions to new technologies as needed.
Your responsibilities will encompass both the technical aspects of data engineering, including harvesting data from various software sources, and the strategic aspects of report building and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies using Power BI.
Oversee data engineering, including the extraction and consolidation of data from multiple sources.
Communicate findings clearly and succinctly to technical and non-technical audiences; Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide BI solutions.
Drive innovation in data analysis and visualization to enhance business decision-making.
Requirements
Proficient with SQL, Python, JavaScript, and frontend stacks.
A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and cross-functionally.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
A degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Strong expertise in Power BI or other BI tools.
Excellent skills in data engineering and report building.
A proactive mindset with a focus on innovating and transforming organizational data practices.
Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively across various teams.
