Materials Management Tech-PT

Description: Receives and fills all supply requisitions from departments including Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) and Point of Issue (POI) replenishment Courier duties as assigned.
Receives and delivers and /or shelves all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of shipments, noting damage or shortages.
Prepares request for procurement of material.
Compares information on shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order.
Interfaces directly with staff members of the user departments to determine the need for additions or deletions to the PAR Level Replenishment System for their department.
Notifies the Material Management Director/Purchasing Agent when supplies or special orders are needed.
Maintains all equipment utilized in transporting supplies in a manner that ensures reliable and safe operation.
Restocks utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation and proper location of stock items.
Performs additional task as assigned by the Director.
Maintains all areas of materials storage in a neat and organized manner.
Any other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Mission and abide by our organizations values.
Requirements: · Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
· Possesses strong organizational skills.
· Detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products.
· Maintains physical stamina and strength required to move heavy equipment and product weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Works well with others.
· Exhibits strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees and with customers.
· Demonstrates knowledge of computer systems · Demonstrates the alertness and physical dexterity · Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.
