*Job Description* * Use and inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed for the position; adhering to all company safety regulations, policies and procedures.
* Manage the quality assurance program (weld, dimensional, and NDT inspection).
* Perform inspection activities and testing procedures.
* Review all NDE reports for compliance with the relevant specifications prior to final acceptance.
* Communicate project issues and/or specific quality and inspection requirements.
* Generate preventive or corrective actions in accordance with the Quality Manual.
* Perform quality audits on vendors and third party service providers and keep up vendor log.
* Verify that material, welding and welder traceability is being properly maintained.
* Verify inspection tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
* Generate pWPS per the applicable code and client specifications.
* Witness and/or monitor the qualification of new welding procedures and welder qualifications.
* Maintain all quality records.
* Working 40 hours per week and overtime as business needs dictate.
*Required Skills* * A working knowledge of Fitter/Welder and/or Quality Control experience related to structural steel fabrication.
* Ability to work in a diverse workforce.

* Ability to work independently or in a team environment to meet productivity goals.
* Ability to read and comprehend fabrication codes, specifications, and drawings.
* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing *Preferred Skills* * Ten or more years of work experience as a Quality Manager (QA-QC) in structural steel fabrication, pipe, and industrial coatings.
* CWI preferred *Physical Requirements* * Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening.
* Regularly sitting, standing and/or walking throughout an 8-10 hour day.
* Must be willing to work in year-round temperatures and moderate weather conditions.
* Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
* Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment needed for the position.
