*Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines.
You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.

*Responsibilities:* * Individual must be well groomed, wear clean clothing/uniforms/ have reliable transportation, and work scheduled hours.
If you miss work frequently, this job is not for you.
* Manage Deli Staff/Team.
Make sure schedules are posted and all hours of operation are covered * Ability to Cost Recipes * Handle Ordering of Supplies * Must be able to cook Cajun Food and Follow Store Recipes * Handle Catering Orders * Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices * Cook food according to recipes, ensuring high quality and presentation * Follow proper food handling and safety procedures * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment on a scheduled basis.
* Make sure products are prepared and stocked on a regular basis * Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service * Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel * Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed * Adhere to all health and safety regulations * Make sure all food is prepared in a timely manner, especially for lunch deliveries *Qualifications:* Manager must have a minimum of 3 years experience as Kitchen Manager and Line Cook.
* Must be able to prepare food in large quantities to feed approximately 150 - 200 plate lunches per day * Must be ablet o cook Cajun Food * Ability to prepare monthly menu calendar * Strong understanding of food safety practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed * Ability to handle catering orders, including occasional Saturday's Skills: - Catering experience - Food service experience - Kitchen operations knowledge - Food preparation skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations - Meal preparation expertise - Culinary knowledge and techniques - Ability to cook various dishes with precision and consistency If you are passionate about cooking delicious meals and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we encourage you to apply for the position of Line Cook.
