Position Title: Director of Quality Control & Football Analytics

Responsibilities:
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics Department is seeking a qualified Director of Quality Control & Football Analytics.
This position will report directly to the Head Football Coach.
The qualified Director of Quality Control & Football Analytics will work closely with the Head Football Coach, Assistant Coaches, Quality Control personnel and other staff regarding special teams play and game planning, managing Quality Control personnel, and providing for the analytics needs of the football program.

o Oversee the management of all Quality Control Coaches
- Manage the invoicing of and payment of QC’s
- Coordinate position and organization assignments of Quality Control Coaches.

- Research best practices and make recommendations – Situation Experts
• Research In-Season Practice and Walk-Thru process for areas of improvement and efficiency.
- Oversee all off-season research as it relates to opponents and practices processes.
- Director of Analytics
o Oversee the analytic needs of the program and evaluate them to best serve the program.
- Work daily with PFF, SSA, and CAI in order to provide the head coach and staff with all of their analytics needs.
- Provide staff the data evaluated in a manner that best communicates the impact and information revealed by the research.
- Special Teams Coordinator
o Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and responsibilities of the Special Teams Graduate Assistant.
o Create off-season plan for Special Team practice organization and Specialist’s individual improvement.
o Responsible for all aspects of Special Teams game planning.
- Delegate plan to staff to be implemented at practices and in competition via special teams meetings.
- Provide Staff with scripts, walk thru plan, practice organization and rehearsals for 4 core assignments daily.
o Evaluation and Oversee of all Specialists (Kicker, Punter, Long-snapper) in daily activities and competition.
o Recommend to the head football coach and player personnel director regarding future needs of specialists and special teams players.
- Support the educational mission of the University and the professional obligation to enhance intercollegiate athletics by providing opportunities to educate students interested in this field.
- Provide broad based and specific experience to students through internship opportunities and student worker positions.
- Be committed to the compliance process and assist with rules education.
- Serve as an ambassador of the University and its Athletics Department to all public entities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- One (1) year experience working in athletics at a college/university or comparable preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, public relations, interpersonal, customer service, and supervisory skills when working with student-athletes, faculty, staff, coaches, and administration.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others; commitment to working with multi-cultural populations.
- Have strong work ethic and be a person of high integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and Institutional rules as they apply to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics program.
- Ability to work extended daily hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
