We offer activities like bowling, karaoke, ninja courses, sports simulators, arcades and more along with a full restaurant and bar (Surge Prime Bistreaux).
We are looking for someone to join our Restaurant’s on-site management team to help manage our Front of House staff and oversee the operations and customer service of our guests.
*Job Responsibilities: *You will be tasked with providing services including but not limited to the following:
* Delivering and ensuring the staff offers the highest customer service possible
* Communicate effectively with all personnel at Surge and Surge Management, LLC.
to meet revenue objectives
* Interviewing, selecting, and training all Front of House non-managerial personnel, including servers, bussers and bar staff
* Supervising and directing the work of all Surge Front of House non-managerial personnel, including but not limited to servers, bussers and bar staff
* Disciplining, coaching and counseling all Surge Front of House non-managerial personnel, including but not issuing verbal warning, write-ups and terminations
* Appraising employee productivity and efficiency to recommend promotions or other changes in status
* Apportioning work among employees
* Handling employee complaints and grievances in accordance with Company policy
* Assessing employees performance and terminating unsuccessful employees.
* Resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
Handling refunds with customers when appropriate on behalf of servers.
* Assist with coordination of employee schedules for servers, bussers and bar staff.
* Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations.
* Maintain safe working conditions.
Report all injuries in a timely manner to Surge Management, LLC, preserving video clips and all supporting documentation.
Document in writing, any and all incidents, customer complaints, injuries, employee issues, etc.
that occur at Surge.
* Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
* Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary and as directed by the GM or Assistant GM.
* Ensure the restaurant front of house is clean, organized and ready to deliver at all times.
* Comply to all federal, state and local laws and regulation
* Perform any and all other Services as requested by Company.
*Skills:*
* 2+ years’ experience in the restaurant industry.
People management experience preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* Dependable and reliable
