Position Purpose
Responsible for maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assisting the Community Manager in performance of their duties.
In addition, assists the Community Manager by performing the responsibilities of a leasing consultant as needed including showing and lease apartments to prospective residents and assist with lease renewals for existing residents.
Courteously and efficiently provide customer service to prospects and existing residents.
Essential Responsibilities
Assists community manager in all marketing and leasing functions including showing units, screening and selecting qualified residents; preparations of advertising and marketing program; surveying competition; reporting; compliance of rental applications and leases; etc.
Can perform all leasing functions and serves as a trainer and resource for leasing consultants.
Assists community manager in all resident relations functions including responding to resident inquiries, complaints, and concerns; collections; complaint logs; move-in and move-outs; etc.
Assists the community manager in all oversight of the physical asset including scheduling of maintenance work; inspection of work; regular review of grounds; make-ready; recommendations on physical repairs, replacements, improvements; etc.
Assists the community manager in financial reporting and budget operations including preparation of budget; variances in budget; reporting; approving invoices; inventory of equipment and supplies; payroll; etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
Prior experience in related field preferred.
Experience in handling business financial responsibilities preferred.
Continuing education or certification in property management field a plus.
High level communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to handle multiple priorities on an ongoing basis.
State driver’s license and working vehicle for use during business hours.
On-time, consistent attendance is an essential function of the position.
