Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time HR Director to join our team in Lafayette, LA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance
Coach and develop a high performing management team and drive employee retention, development and overall performance.
Provide proactive expert advice and coaching to management and employees on employment and performance issues when appropriate.
Participate in the development of plans and programs as a strategic partner with a specific focus of the impact on employees and translate the strategic agenda and tactical business plans into HR programs
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory changes that will impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of employees
Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps
Develop workforce planning strategies, succession planning, and programs to identify key talent for the organization
Understands and monitors workforce demographics and stay always aware of company talent needs
Responsible for conducting termination reviews with management to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, in addition to applicable HR laws and regulations
Responsible for creating and updating all job descriptions for employees and recruiting to attract and retain quality candidates
Review and update compensation program(s) to drive employee performance and retention
Ensure compliance with all employment law and HR related laws and regulations.
Including DOL, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO/AA, and DOT Drug and Alcohol testing.
Provide appropriate training and resources to managers and employees for compliance.
Partner with Corporate HR in developing and implementing initiatives and strategies as determined by Superior
Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the company
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other business-related degree
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Human Resources management role within the oil and gas industry is preferable
An experienced leader and human resource professional with 7-10 years of Human Resources experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
An excellent facilitator who is experienced in delivering solutions and resolving conflicts.
Knowledge of Human Resource systems, Internet software, Payroll systems, spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
