*Responsibilities:*
The Accounting Manager is an integral part of the corporate team and is responsible for maintaining the accounting, managing A/R & A/P, preparing payroll, reconciling bank accounts, invoicing and similar accounting functions.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all facets of both accounting and human resources.
The Accounting Manager interacts with the company’s CPA on a monthly basis.
The CPA firm prepares the company’s tax returns.
This position requires a person that understands accounting, can create and generate management reports and is proficient in excel and word.
In addition to the accounting tasks associated with Bonaventure, the Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining the books of 3 other sister companies as well.
There are a significant number of inter-company transactions that must be reconciled between the various companies.
*Skills Required:*
· A solid understanding of accounting principles
· Knowledge of QuickBooks
· Time Management
· Excellent communication skills
· A degree in accounting is preferred, but not required if experienced
· Knowledge of ACCtivate Software
· Basic Human Resources Experience
