Workers Compensation Billing/Collections Specialist

* Familiar with Workers Compensation * Review and work denials daily * Prepare appeals as needed * Prepare files that require arbitration and submit to attorneys * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other regulations * Knowledge of medical terminology * Responsible for Collections on EOB's * Re-work unpaid or erroneously paid EOB's to maximum reimbursement * High level EOB knowledge and communication * Optimax experience is a plus * Minimum 2 year's experience working with Worker Compensation carriers * Ability to communicate effectively and professionally * Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
